Liming Machinery Will Showcase Energy-Efficient Cement Vertical Mills at bauma CHINA 2026
Liming Machinery will present its cement vertical mill systems and integrated grinding solutions at bauma CHINA 2026 (November 24–27, Shanghai). This article examines the energy-saving characteristics of vertical mill technology based on the company’s published technical data.
Cement grinding remains one of the most energy-intensive stages in cement production. At bauma CHINA 2026, Liming Machinery will present its cement vertical mill system, a technology designed to reduce power consumption while maintaining consistent product fineness.
According
to technical data published on Liming’s website, using a vertical roller mill
for cement mixture grinding saves 15–20% on power consumption per
ton compared to traditional tube mills . This
advantage is particularly relevant for cement producers facing volatile
electricity prices and increasing pressure to reduce carbon
emissions.
The vertical mill achieves this through a material-bed grinding principle: the grinding rollers and grinding disc do not make direct metal-to-metal contact, which eliminates the impact noise generated by steel balls striking liners in conventional ball mills. As a result, operational noise is reduced by 15–20 dB compared to ball mill systems . The system operates under fully sealed negative pressure, preventing dust escape and maintaining a clean production environment.
Fineness control is achieved through a DC motor-driven classifier. By adjusting rotor speed, operators can regulate the specific surface area of the cement product to approximately 350 m³/kg, accommodating different cement types and market requirements .
Liming Heavy Industry reports having served over 30,000 customers across more than 180 countries and regions, with 280+ patents and certifications including ISO9001, EU CE, and Customs Union CU-TR . The company’s product range covers 1–3 mm coarse powder through 1250–3250 mesh micro powder, spanning the full spectrum of mineral grinding applications.

Case Reference: Liming’s published project data includes a 20–25 t/h ball mill cement line processing clinker, limestone, and gypsum to 300 m²/kg specific surface area, operational since 2024 . For vertical mill applications, the company’s technical team will be available at bauma for detailed discussion.
Exhibition Information: bauma CHINA 2026 will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from November 24–27, 2026 . Liming Machinery welcomes cement producers and project developers to visit its booth for technical consultation.
